Well that makes sense the last one I've got that I'm pretty sure is original was dated 1966. I have another one that's newer than that I am pretty sure the lever isn't original to that game. By the way does anybody know if there is any significance to that design I've heard that the three star logo appears in other locations.....

Another 3-star lever question; does anyone know if Daisy ever produced the 3-star design in a curved lever ?
I’ve seem plenty of the straight levers, but the only type I’ve seen on the 96, 98, etc. have the Daisy in a bullseye with a bunch of vertical grooves.

I don't know of any special significance to the 3 star logo, but maybe someone does?

There weren't any curved 3 star levers, though. The first curved lever with any decorations was the "notched" lever. v1 had no plastic insert, v2 did have one.

Thanks Mark,
I had suspected as much, but wanted to be sure.
The 3-star is an iconic Daisy design, and I thought it would look good on a couple of older guns I’m working on.
Oh well…

It's my favorite design as well. Personally, the notched lever isn't, so it would have been cool if they had used the 3 star logo on the curved lever, too.

Speaking of 3 star levers, the top lever (used until 1955 on the 75 Scout and model 94 Red Ryder, among others) is seldom seen anymore:

Wow that's really neat that looks like it's for 111-40. So the reason I'm trying to find another place that that logo exists is I need a good picture of it. I'm looking for something to laser engrave this stock of my 1201 and that's the logo I want to use. So if anybody has an actual print ad or drawing or something with that of it that be great.

Bryan, what about a pencil "rubbing" or maybe an emailed picture of a closeup or even an actual lever in front of you? If any of these options are possibilities you can email me. My email address is in my profile.   Russ
