LOL; there is an extensive post on NEW ISSUE OF DAISY NO 25 PUMP ACTION BB GUN on this forum, just click on it.  To be brief, the new issues are okay for the money but nothing like the old ones, there are some quality control problems as far as I am concerned but like I said, it is a good gun and you would enjoy plinking with it.  If it's notalgia you want, go with the old ones; besides, BassPro is out of stock and no one seems to know where else you can buy them.  The Daisy Museum Gift Shop  web site alludes to every Daisy item sold is available there, but apparantly not in this instance.

I think Bass Pro has them in stock, but you may have to ask a salesperson since they are not always on display. In my opinion, at $39.94 it's a buy, check it out.

Hi all: The reissue of the Daisy No 25 is definitly worth the $40+ (don't forget shipping and handling is extra); I have two of them, one remains in carton unopened which I intend to keep.  The other I use and it is on the way to being immensely enjoyed by me and my grandchildren.

However, I think the point of the folks looking for the Model 25 of their youth is that they want THAT variant.  Anyone seeking such can contact me at Clfmustang@aol.com and I will offer you a 5 day return with the option of receiving replacement specimen if you are not satisfied with the one I initially send to you.
