I recently acquired a Daisy No. 8 pistol with a patent date of June 22, 1915. There is only a pin hole size opening in the end of the barrel. Does anyone have any idea of what its original function was?
Thanks,

DIP THE BARREL IN WATER AND USE THE TRIGGER TO SUCK IT FULL. DON'T LET IT RUST.

So it's a single-shot squirt gun. That's interesting. It's also interesting that someone would make a squirt gun out of pressed steel. Thanks for the information.
