 It says Model 98 and my grandfather had it..he was born in 1886 +/-

My dad still has it , so I haven't seen it up close yet.. He's 87..and still his favorite toy... I want to get info on it for his 88 birthday..
Found My grandfathers 1898 Daisy..need info

It was made between 1955-1961. If it has a scope and plastic stock it is an older one. Also if it says Plymouth Michigan on it, it would have been made between 1955-1958.
