Hello guys,
I recently purchased one of these vintage air shotguns from a forum member here. It's a .25 caliber smooth bore. It came with a nice black leather case, with 'Ye wha' stamped on it, take down tool, shotgun shell casings and wads, and a reseal kit. It did not come with a bandolier/ammo belt. I'm doing some research, and I want to document what I have, and to find out if I'm missing any accessories. I'm wondering if Beeman Precision Airguns shipped these guns out in different configurations, with different accessories. Do any of you remember buying one of these guns, or if your friends/family had one, and the accessories that came with it? Did it come with a case? If it had a case, do you remember what color it was? If it had a case, did it have 'Ye wha' stamped on it? Did it come with a bandolier/ammo belt? If it had a bandolier/ammo belt, did it have 'Ye wha' stamped on it? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. |

American Vintage Airgun Forum would be a really good place to ask this question, as they have collectors on their that specialize in these types of airguns more so than on here. There are lots of people that collect pump pneumatics on there an they will undoubtedly know.

That's the infamous Yellow forum that people mysteriously get
banned from if they say something the owner doesn't like. I think I'll stay away from that one. Besides, that forum has 1950's posting technology. But, I do sincerely appreciate the info davidh.

I did some research on the gun you described. It sounds like it is one of the 350 that Beeman bought from the manufacturers in the late 70's. It came with everything that you named off, so you have all the accessories. As a side note there was one on the web for sale for $570.

Thanks for the info.
I did not get an owner's manual or bandolier. I know that Beeman actually wrote an owner's manual in English. My gun could be one of the earlier ones. The gun has a serial number on it, but I don't think that information could be good for anything.

Yewha- Because of the number of pumps required[even though you got more than one shot on a full charge] and the fact that they didn't sell well Dr.Beeman sold them off at a bargain price of $59 with the bandolier. These are very powerful air rifles at full charge with a claimed 1000fps in 25 cal. Ejwills. |

Thanks for the info about the forum oldwizzer. pay $35 each. They never paid for them, and the Moonies never asked for the money. On the second batch of 300 guns, Beeman only paid $10 each, so he made a pretty good profit on those. And, they actually sold like hot cakes, because they had a stated velocity of 1,000fps. They sold out very fast. This was back in like 1973, 1974, so a $50 profit on each gun was very good.

My older brother was very excited about the Yewha, and sent in his money to get one as soon as he saw it listed in the catalog. Unfortunately, they sent his money back because they were sold out. |
